Even with instant recharge on shelter, I'd say shelter dies pretty quick since the 10% damage prot also applies to all those minions, not just the party.
It feels like you would get rolled if one AI gets lucky and fires a nuke off ( very likely, since I do not spot a lot of rupts in your team), thus demolishing both shelter AND your minion army.

Then again, I run other things with my dervish, so no actual experience with this teambuild of yours.
It seems to me that Shelter is up suprisingly well. I thought also that shelter would be useless with minions but it seems that the number of allies doesn't affect as much as one could think. Also it might be because of my personal play style.

@Viti Ligo: No probs! I'm glad you're trying stuff out rather than sticking to templates.

Would you accept a bit of constructive criticism on your current build? There's just a few issues with it:

1) 2 MMs are overkill because they compete for corpses. Diversifying them a bit might help. Try to spec a little into curses for Cracked Armor, it'll help you a lot since most of your damage isn't armor-ignoring. To be honest, 1 MM with summon bone minions is enough for every single corpse you'll ever need, AotL or Jagged is just gravy. Sub in "Fall Back!" on MMs if movement is an issue. Remember that Dervishes and Barbs/MoP/Orders don't always mix.

2) Zhed is a bit of a mess, Double Dragon doesn't cause scatter, so fire/water doesn't make much sense. He has too many energy saving skills on a build that doesn't use much energy at all in the first place. My suggestion: Switch over to an Earth Build with Stone Sheath (which is excellent in PvE) or go pure fire.

3) You may have too much condition removal. 1 Foul feast and maybe someone with Extinguish or Pure was Li Ming (which is grossly underrated) is quite enough. Don't bother with Heaven's Delight on Tahlkora, your dervishes have that covered much better and that's supposed to be doublestacked. UA isn't significantly better at higher DF.

4) Likewise, maybe a bit too much hex removal. Hex Eater signet or Hexbreaker Aria + Emphatic Removal for mass hexes, meta in Pious Restoration on yourself if you want to keep yourself clean, or just take Peace and Harmony/Blessed Light. The other way is to take a bunch of Shatter Hex/Smite Hexes and turn your hexed self into an AoE bomb.

I suggest changing the UA into a UA/smite build with SoH maintained on the player bar, then you can bring in stuff like Smite Hex/Condition.

I also highly suggest bringing more than one copy of highly specced Splinter Weapon since you have 3 melee attackers, though you will have to figure out a way to slot them in.

on my melee chars, efficiency can suck it.
My heroes are built so I get bigger numbers, because that is all that matters.

splinter weapon with like 16 channeling.
strength of honor with like 16 smiting.
orders nec with like 16 blood magic.

cracked armor, loads of condi/hex removals to keep you superclean.
and like gust or something to move fast and stuff.

autoattacking for 3 digits -- thats the stuff.
